3) Analyze the DC and AC circuits

5) Develop the MATLAB/Simulink model of the engineering systems
6) Simulate the electrical and mechanical systems based on mathematical models using MATLAB/Simulink
7) Design the control system using MATLAB
8) Use the MATLAB/Simulink program package effectively

Course Contents

Introduction of System Modeling, the mathematical model of DC and AC electrical machines, modeling of the DC and AC motor drives, DC to DC, DC to AC, AC to DC and AC to AC power converter and power switch, the Matlab software package , the Simulink toolbox, Control system models, modeling of the electrical systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
