Review the theory of DC and AC machines. Introduction of laboratory equipments. Characteristics of shunt excited DC generators. Characteristics of compound excited DC generators. Characteristics of series excited DC generators. Characteristics of 1 phase induction motors. Basic characteristics of wound rotor induction motors. Operating synchronous generators in parallel to the grid. Characteristics of synchronous motors.
