Course Contents

Introduction to the floor systems. Design of one way and two way slab systems. Flat slabs, flexural and punching design. Equivalent frame method. One and two way joist floors slabs. Introduction to reinforce concreted foundation systems. Design principles of signle footing and continuous foundation systems. Reinforced concrete retaining wall systems. Bond and anchorage, serviceability requirements and crack width limits.
