Course Contents

Introduction, Field testing, compaction methods, various chemical soil improvement methods such as lime, cement, slag, silicon, polymer etc., Deep improvement methods: dinamic compaction, grouting, jet grouting, wick drains, drained and undrained loading methods, and new techniques.

4) Shallow improvement methods using chemicals: chemical stabilization: lime stabilization
5) Shallow improvement methods using chemicals: chemical stabilization: slag, salt, polymer, silicon etc.
6) Deep improvement techniques: Dynamic compaction method
7) Deep improvement techniques: Low pressure cement grouting method
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Deep improvement techniques: high pressure cement grouting method
10) Field testing and boring and liquifaction calculations
