Course Contents

This course covers earthquakes, properties of earthquakes, assessment and earthquake engineering, basic soil dynamics, seismic response of different soil types, post-earthquake behavior of soils, changes in bearing capacities, effects of changes to soil capacity,one-dimensional site response analyses, seismic risk, seismic analysis and design methods, how to use existing earthquake codes, liquefaction analysis.
