Course Contents

Analysis and design procedures of reinforced concrete pre-cast structures. Design of columns, beams, plane trusses and u-throughs. Beam-column connections. Welded connections, wet connections, connections with threaded rods. Capacity calculation of these connections, and their ductility predictions. Hybrid connections. Hybrid connections with prestressing strands. Hybrid connections with high strength bolts. Capacity calculations for the hybrid connections.
