Prof. Dr. Seval PINARBAŞI ÇUHADAROĞLU
1) Compare the two methodologies used in structural steel design: allowable stress design and ultimate strength design.
2) Compute the ultimate strength of steel members, fasteners and connections.
3) Classify steel cross sections according to their local buckling behavior.
4) Make the design of steel tension, compression and flexural members.
5) Make the design of simple connections in steel structures.
