This course covers matter – its properties and measurement, atoms and the atomic theory, chemical compounds and reactions, gases, thermochemistry, the periodic table and atomic properties, chemical bonds, liquids, solids and intermolecular forces, solutions and their physical properties, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acids-bases, thermodynamics and equilibrium(entropy and free energy), electrochemistry.
