Course Contents

This course covers;properties and parameters of signals,periodic functions and Fourier Series,Power Spectrum,properties of Fourier transform, precalculations in calculating spectrum, windows,Hankel (Fourier-Bessel) Transform,Laplace transformation,Z Transforms,relation between Laplace, Z Transform and Fourier Transforms,Hilbert Transform,time domain studies,convolution deconvolution.

4) Statistical analysis of data
5) Data smoothing with moving average and Gauss function
6) Use of Surfer software for smoothing two-dimensional data
7) Concept of convolution and filtering

9) Low pass, high pass and band pass filtering
10) Basic principles and applications of data registration in geophysics
11) One-dimensional trend analysis
12) Two-dimensional trend analysis
13) Determination of wavelengths of signals and noise with spectral analysis
