Course Contents

This course covers;purpose of drilling engineering and drilling operations, types and classification of drilling, diamond drilling techniques, sequences, and ancillary elements standard tool used in diamond drilling, the standard stems, core tubes, portcrones and segments, drill bits used for drilling, casing pipes, water, oil, mining etc.drilling and features, impact, reverse circulation drilling, drilling mud and varieties used.

3) Standart set series used in diamond drillings and axuilary equipments
4) Standart drilling pipes used in drillings
5) Core handling systems (karotiyer), segments (portkron and keçir)
6) Drilling pits used in rotary drillings
7) Protection pipes, types of water pipes, filters and their properties used in diamond drillings
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Cabled core handling systems, pumps, characteristics of the muds used in drillings, pulsed drillings. Drill hole purity
10) Airy drilling
11) Footing drillings
12) Designation of water drill holes, types of aquifers, isolution methods and reinforcement, drill hole development methods
13) Salvage methods and tools
14) Injection drillings
15) Productivity and difficulties in drilling
16) Final examination
