Course Contents

Introduction and history of seismotectonic, plate tectonics and characteristics of earthquake along plate boundaries, volcanoes and hot spots, earth’s seismicity, earthquake statistics, seismic hazard, seismic risk, observational seismology, earthquake damage, tsunamis, geological and geomorphological data used in the assessment of seismotectonics, earthquakes and geodesy, earthquake prediction, early warning systems.
