Course Contents

This course covers;fundamental principles of seismic processing,velocity analysis,filter analysis,wavelet analysis,trace mix,energy of seismic trace, deconvolution and its effect on seismic cross-section, stack,migration,stratigraphic interpretation,structural modelling,direct hydrocarbon detection,seismic pitfalls, specific interpretations,practices on seismic cross sections,continue to practices,preparation of contour maps related to depth and thickness of the layers being interested,identification of sounding locations from contour maps and preparation of reports.
