Course Contents

Determination of the Engineering parameters of the rocks, Physical , chemical, geological and mechanical characteristics of the rocks, Determination of the elastic parameters of the rocks by using geophysical methods, bearing capacity and permissible bearing capacity of soil, microtremor measurements and predominant period and frequency. Determining the dam site and tunnel site. Liquefaction, liquefaction analysis, mineral exploration. Overwiew to ground penetrating radar method.
