Geomagnetism
This course covers;classification of magnetic substances, magnetic units and conversion factors, diamagnetism, paramagnetism, ferromagnetism, ferrimagnetism ,magnetic properties of minerals, oxide minerals and triangle diagram, magnetic properties of rocks, apparent susceptibility, magnetic hysteresis, types of remanent magnetization, magnetic domains, identification of magnetic minerals in the rocks , rock content-suseptibility-density relation magnetic parameters and minerolojy-chemistry content-grain size relation, magnetic anizotropy.
