Course Contents

This course covers;periodic motion, superposition of periodic motions, physical systems, free oscillations, damped harmonic motion, forced oscillations and resonance concept of longitudinal vibrations and sound waves in air ducts, the normal modes of two-and three-dimensional systems, progressive waves, superposition of waves, progressive, Fixed waves, dispersion, phase velocity and group velocity, mechanical energy carried by the waves and a wave energy, doppler effect.
