This course covers introduction to basic statistics, frequency distributions and graphical presentations, measure of central tendency (mode, median, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic mean) and dispersion (variance, standard deviation, mean deviation), probability concepts, discrete probability distributions, normal probabililiy distribution, sampling methods, test of hypotheses in small and large samples (z and t-student tests), chi-square test, analysis of variance tests, correlation and regression analysis.
