1) By learning the basic design and operation principles of vehicles, development of ability to design vehicles for real world operating conditions.
2) By learning the basic operation principles of power trains, development of ability to design alternative power trains for real world operating conditions.
3) By learning the basic operation principles of electric motors and generators, development of ability to design motor/generator units for the vehicles
4) By learning the basic principles of regenerative braking, development of ability to design efficient hybrid and electrical vehicles.
