1) Using power switching devices such as power BJTs, power MOSFETs, SITs, IGBT, MCTs, TRIAC,s, GTOs.
2) Developing technique of power switching.

6) Analyzing and developing power circuits related with power electronics.

This course covers; power semiconductor switches, uncontrolled and controlled AC-DC rectifiers, DC-DC switch mode converters, DC-AC switch mode inverters.
