Course Contents

1. Basics of image, properties of light, color information, human vision system, cameras, computer vision systems, black-white image, color image, color models (RGB, CMY, TIQ), digital image 2. Sampling and quantification of image mark 3. Image formats, image enhancement techniques; point processing methods, black-and-white image, slicing of grayscale values, brightness adjustment, contrast enhancement and computer applications 4. Image filtering systems 5. Two-dimensional transformations of the image; Application of two-dimensional fourier transform and fast fourier transform to images 6. Image data encoding techniques, image compression and techniques
