Course Contents

• g major scale and arpeggios / e minor harmonic, melodic scales and arpeggios ( 2 hands together- 4 octaves) • f major scale and arpeggios / d minor harmonic, melodic scales and arpeggios( 2 hands together- 4 octaves) • 1 etude (Czerny op.599’ from no: 33) • 1 baroque period piece • 1 free piece (classic, romantic, modern or jazz style)

3) e harmonic,melodic minor scale - d harmonic,melodic minor scale (4 octaves-both hands)
4) G major arpeggios (4 octaves-both hands)

6) Sight-reading practice on selected etudes
7) Practice on technical and musical development of selected etudes
8) Midterm exam / Assessment
9) Sight-reading practice on selected Baroque Period piano piece
