Within the scope of the course, the differences and similar points between popular culture and mass culture, the interaction of globalization and socio-economic systems with popular culture and mass culture, the effects of popular culture and mass culture on identity representations, the effects and reflections of popular culture in daily life, consumption culture of popular culture, advertising, the relationship between social media, music and sports are examined.
