Course Contents

Art describes projects that make use of emerging media technologies and are concerned with the cultural, political, and aesthetic possibilities of these tools. Digital and New Media art refers to works such as interactive multimedia installations, virtual reality environments, and Web-based art that are made using digital technology. The course includes the study of the relationship between art and technology, the analysis of contemporary works of art, and also practices in digital and new media art.
