Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) The student is one of visual perception, cognition, and visual thinking skills to analyze the winner. Visual thinking, to recognize the stages of design and format conversion of signification, to forme and functioning within the scope of the discipline to produce a new one is the winner. Check and learn to use the experience and knowledge on perception.

Course Contents

Basic Design Principles of Policy and theoretically described, the flexible workshop environment, free, exploratory, constructive and experimental practice and design work in an environment. Art Elements: Line, Color, Shape, Form, Texture, Value, (compensations), December (Espas). Principles of Art: Balance, Rhythm, Movement, Contrast, Unity, Emphasis, Case (Motif).

Weekly Schedule

1) Students will be informed about the purpose and content of the lecture. Their expectations will be discuss.
2) Information about visual arts and artists will be given.
3) Basic Principles of Design will be given.
4) One of the Basic Principles of Design will be choosen and will be explained with details without the examples. Reflection from students will be collected.
5) Application practice. (1st group)
6) Application practice. (2nd group)
7) Application practice will be evaluated and positive and creative review will be given.
8) Midterm Examination/Assessment
9) Application practice. (3rd group)
10) Choromo will be explained, Colours and their affects on people will be given.
11) Application practice. (4th group)
12) Examples of the self proven artists works will be given about the selected application topics.
13) Focusiing on a topic as a group and figure drawing from the model.
14) Collective studies to make stronger the commen conscience and to develop the creativity.
15) Preparations for three dimensional versatile balance works on paper and cardboard.
