Course Contents

In this lecture, different kind of objects and shapes that derived from basic geometric definitions and shapes as computer based graphic design essentials; designs and applications of visual communication techniques recognized from looking-seeing-perception processes will be discussed.

Weekly Schedule

0) Relationship between point and line, differences in vector and pixel structures. Explaining the AI ??Pen tool, Explaining the brush-pencil and introducing its palettes.
1) What is Graphic Design? What are the basic elements of graphic design? The effectiveness of computers in graphic design, a brief history.
2) What is the point? Pixel definition. Defining the functions of Adobe Illustrator program.
3) Form - shape creation
4) Defining the tonal value of the line. Applications for the creation of forms.
