1) Knows about semiconductors and laser technologies
2) Recognizes X-ray and technology, communication technology; different physical sensors and nanotechnology applications
3) Being aware of GPS and radar technology, imaging techniques and tools (ultrasonics, NMR, tomography, scintillation, electron and scanning microscopes) in daily life
4) Realizes the importance of technology and greenhouse gases; water-producing technologies; pharmaceutical technology; chemical cleaning materials and production technologies; chemical pollution and prevention technologies
5) Defines GMO technology; stem cell technology; medicine and cosmetic product technologies in today's world
6) Understands about convenience food technology, biological sensors, genetic copying and bioinformatics
