Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Uses basic English literacy skills
2) Defines and uses basic concepts related to child development and stages in English.
3) Defines and uses basic concepts related to basic education and secondary education in English.
4) Defines and uses basic concepts related to educational sciences in English.
5) Examplifies and uses in English for dialogues between student-parent-teacher.
6) Explains and uses techniques for listening and understanding academic texts (YouTube, Teachertube, TEDx, etc.).
7) Develops verbal skills (vocabulary, patterns, etc.) for professional development.
8) Uses writing skills in English (writing a petition, preparing a report, creating a CV, writing a short message, creating course objectives etc.);
9) Uses reading skills in English (reading written texts using web 2.0 tools, etc.);
10) Carries out translation studies in the field of related teaching.

Basic English reading-writing-listening training; basic concepts of child development and stages; basic concepts related to basic education and secondary education; basic concepts of educational sciences; examples of dialogue between student-parent-teacher; texts with academic content understanding techniques (YouTube, TeacherTube, TEDx talk etc.); verbal skills (vocabulary, patterns, etc.); writing education (writing a petition, preparing a report, creating CV, writing text messages, creating course objectives etc.); reading (web 2.0 brushing reading written texts etc.); related teaching work translation studies.
