Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) In Turkey, the modernization movement that recognizes when it begins and how it reflected on Turkish literature. Recognizes and introduces the development of the New Turkish Literature during the Republican Period. Solve literary texts.
2) Selects reading parts appropriate to primary education level. These readings recognize the contributions of Turkish literary education.

Course Contents
The thought movements in the national literary era are revealed by reading at least one of the literature orientations that these movements reveal. Introducing important literary figures of these periods together with distinctive features. The effects of national literary period on 20th century Turkish literature. Up to the 50's in Turkish Literature during the Republican Period. An examination of important works emerging in the fields of prose, poetry and theater.
