1) Explain the historical development and deployment areas of Turkish.
2) Know Turkish languages family and phonetic features (vowels, consonant, harmonies, sound changes, syllable…etc) of Turkish.
3) Know Turkish alphabets that are used throughout history, the importance and the necessity of writing.
4) Know the spellings of syllables, spelling of words at the end of the line.
5) Write Turkish words in phonetics alphabet (IPA).
6) Define and explain the diphtongs and their features, sound changes of Turkish.
7) Explain the universal basic features of vowels and consonants in world languages.
8) Know vowels, consonants, semi-vowels and <ğ> issue of Turkish.
