Course Contents

Basic concepts of grammar knowledge; Basic characteristics of Turkish language in terms of sound, form, meaning and syntax; the aim of instruction of grammar knowledge; Grammar knowledge in Turkish Language Education Curriculum; Evaluation of grammar teaching models and approaches (Behaviorist, Cognitive and Constructivist); Language learning acquisitions in Turkish Language Teaching Program (Grades 1-8); Topics to be followed in grammar teaching (phonetics, morphology, semantic knowledge); methods and techniques, examples of activities.
