Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) .Being able to understand the importance of measurement and evaluation in education
2) Knowledge of trends and developments in the field of measurement and evaluation in education in recent years
3) Establishing the relationship between objectives (learning outcom)), content and questions and being able to generate an appropriate measurement tool
4) Being able to develop an achievement test
5) To be able to plan teacher-made exams
6) To be able to determine the basic characteristics that distinguish performance measurement (alternative measurement) and traditional measurement methods
7) Ability to generate and apply performance measurement (alternative measurement) tools
8) To be able to use basic statistical methods in making sense of measurement results
9) Scoring objectively in accordance with the exam type
10) Understanding the purpose and importance of grading students in schools
11) Knowledge of different grading methods
12) To be able to distinguish the meanings of basic concepts related to measurement and evaluation in education and to use them appropriately
13) Understanding the meaning of the attributes of the measurements (reliability, validity and usefulness)
