Basic characteristics of oral language and oral communication. Basic principles of good communication and communicator (emphasis, intonation, pause, etc.). Prepared and unprepared talks on various topics, phases of a prepared talk (topic selection limitation, purpose, perspective, major and minor themes, planning, writing, presentation). Conversational genres (interview, oral presentation, celebration message, giving directions, phone conversation, job interview, radio and TV talks, cultural and artistic talks, etc.). Correcting oral language mistakes.
