Course Contents

Introduction of vehicle and wheel axis system, defining of vehicle body and wheel motions according to the axis systems, main functions of suspension system, functions of suspension system components according to the axis systems, determining of types and the numbers of joints according to target degree of freedom, dynamic analysis of suspension components damping vibration, investigating of load transfer occurring during vehicle motions, defining of the suspension parameters determining the load transfers, analysis of some dependent, independent and semi-independent suspension systems by using ADAMS-Car and ADAMS-Chassis software.
