Course Contents

Mixture formation in internal combustion engines, the calculation of air flow rate, the calculation of the fuel flow rate, stoichiometric conditions for petroleum-based fuels, factors affected on the rate of atomization, gasoline and diesel fuel injection systems, comparing fuel injection systems each other, fuel injection systems in terms of the design of the combustion chamber, mechanical and electronic injectors, effects of the fuel injection systems on engine performance and exhaust emissions.
