Definition and types of materials, Atomic structure, Atomic arrangement and crystal lattice systems, Dislocations, Point and surface defects, Diffusion, Diffusion Mechanisms, Tensile Test, Impact Test, Fatigue Test, Hardness and Creep Test, Non-ferrous alloys, Low carbon, medium carbon and high carbon steels, Steel standards and their readings, Heat treatment methods.
