Regulatory Framework; Role of the International Civil Aviation Organisation; Role of the European Commission; Role of EASA; Role of the Member States and National Aviation Authorities; Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 and its implementing rules Regulations (EC) No 1702/2003 and (EC) No 2042/2003; Relationship between the various Annexes (Parts) such as Part-21, Part-M, Part-145, Part-66, Part-147 and EU-OPS. Part-66 — Certifying Staff — Maintenance; Detailed understanding of Part-66. Part-145 — Approved Maintenance Organisations; Detailed understanding of Part-145 and Part-M Subpart F. JAR-OPS — Commercial Air Transportation; General understanding of EU-OPS. Air Operators Certificates; Operator’s responsibilities, in particular regarding continuing airworthiness and maintenance; Aircraft Maintenance Programme; MEL//CDL; Documents to be carried on board; Aircraft placarding (markings). Aircraft Certification; General understanding of Part-21 and EASA certification specifications CS-23, 25, 27, 29. Certificate of Airworthiness; restricted certificates of airworthiness and permit to fly; Certificate of Registration; Noise Certificate; Weight Schedule; Radio Station Licence and Approval. Part-M; Detailed understanding of Part-21 provisions related to continuing airworthiness. Detailed understanding of Part-M.
