Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Understand period of four caliphs is a central term in understanding the history of Islam
2) Understand the important position of the four caliphs period that should not be overlooked in Islamic History
3) To realize the atmosphere occurred in the Islamic world after the death of the Prophet;
4) To analyze new developments came out after the period of the Prophet
5) To compare the applications of each of the Four Caliphs and to take sample different practises about various
issues;
6) To compare the periods of Caliphate and Dynasty;
7) To explain the reasons of emergence of different views and sects in the History of Islam.
8) To explain and interpret the various aspects of the periods of Four Caliphs, The Umayyad and Andalusia Umayyad

1) The history of caliphate with its outlines from the beginning with the concepts caliph and caliphate.2) Choosing Hz Abu Bakr caliph, sending the army of Usame, the reasons of ridde and insurgency and the suppression of them.
3) The beginning of the voyages to the lands where Arabs connected to Eastern Romans and Sassanies lived.

5) The conquering movements to the direction of Syria, Jazeera and the Egyptian in the period of Hz Omar.
