Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Have a knowledge of political, cultural and scientific substructures that had been constituted the notion of Tafsir in Ottoman era.
2) Realise the relation between Sharh and Tafsir as the main kinds of compilation
3) Have a general idea about both al-Razi school and Wahdat al-Wujud school that are the main schools of Tafsir in the early period of Ottoman Empire.
4) See some examples of mufassiruns in the early period of Ottoman Empire.
