1) student will be able to have a grasp of political, cultural and scientific background that had been constituted the thought of Tafsir.
2) Have an idea about the relation between Sharh and Tafsir as the main kinds of compilation.
3) Have a general idea about the Tafsirs of al-Kashshaf, al-Baydawi, al-Irshad, al-Nasafi and al-Jalalayn.
4) Read some examples from their exegesis.
