Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Artistic gymnastic Turkey and the world to explain the historical development,
2) To be able to engender artistic gymnastics culture,
3) To be able to define the basic skills of the artistic gymnastics branch,
4) Explains the basic postures, order exercises and basic movements in General Gymnastics.
5) Describes artistic gymnastic male, artistic gymnastic female and rhythmic gymnastic movements
6) Describes trampoline gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, step, step aerobic movements.
7) Explains Pilates, Gymnastic ballet and Ems system exercises
8) To be able to apply the teaching methods of artistic gymnastics skills,
9) To be able to apply basic skills in artistic gymnastics branch (Girls and boys),
10) To be able to improve skills by using auxiliary tools in artistic gymnastics,

Course Contents

General information about artistic gymnastics, historical development of artistic gymnastics, introduction of female and male equipment, safety measures in training and competition environment, qualifications of fully equipped gymnasium, women's and men's competition rules and competition organization, talent selection in the development of gymnastics, school, club and family relations, educational value in terms of the arrival of children, organizational structure of the federation, measures to be taken in spreading the artistic gymnastics culture, floor, balance, jumping board for girls, and transition to movement connections with basic skills in parallel, ground, pull-up, coupled horse jumping board and ring tools for men in asymmetrical parallel,

Weekly Schedule

1) History of Gymnast, Introduction of Equipment in Artistic Gymnastics (women), Warm-up in artistic gymnastics, Place: flip forward. Balance: self-preservation reflex and coping with fear
2) Location cushion, progressive education movement applies cartwheel.Introduction of Tools in Artistic Gymnastics (men), Jumping Table: Springboard exercises, Pull-up-Girl parallel: Different grips from the hanging (reverse, cross, mixed and eagle)
3) Safety precautions to be taken in artistic gymnastics training and competition environment . Location cushion, progressive education movement applies elliaşma. Location: Back somersault Balance; positions of body parts,
4) General structure and features of the fully equipped Artistic Gymnastics Hall. Dolphin somersaults and implements associated movements. Jumping Table: descent technique (forward, backward and sideways) Pull-up-Girl parallel: tummy turn (back)
5) Artistic gymnastics women's competition rules, Location; Handstand Tumble, Balance; walking types in balance, jumps (forward, sideways, backward) simple turns.

7) Artistic gymnastics women's competition organizations. The girl makes the exit, turn, grip, swing, and base turn on the lower bar. Parallel: Oscillation principles (suspension, rest, seats)

9) Artistic gymnastics men's competition organizations, Explains the introduction of balance apparatus, simple walks, and exit forms. Balance: Circle, Parallel: Fore arm out flow
10) Talent selection and principles in artistic gymnastics, Jumping table: Collective transition, Parallel: Back double arm exit, Apply the movement of the circle and cartwheel in the balance device.
11) School, Club and Family Relations in the Development of Artistic Gymnastics, Balance: Roll forward Parallel: Back shoulder roll, Describes the exit and movements to the handled horse.
12) Educational value of gymnastics in terms of child development, Makes endurance exercises on the handled horse.
13) The historical development of artistic gymnastics in Turkey, Place: Elleaşma Barfiks-Girl parallel: Kipe. Description of the ring tool. It applies hold, handstand, finish line on the ring.
14) Turkey Gymnastics Federation's organizational structure Applies oscillation and handstand movements. The repetition of the movements learned in all instruments. Series study.
15) Precautions to be taken in spreading artistic gymnastics culture. Applies oscillation and handstand movements. Creating and working Series on all instruments.
