This course provides knowledge on freestyle and bacstroke swimming rules.

1) Historical development of swimming in Turkey and the world.
2) History of freestyle swimming, basic swimming.
3) Drills of freestyle swimming.
4) Historical development of backstroke techniques, free style drills for arm and leg.
5) Drills of freestyle breath, leg, arm coordination.
6) Turning studies for freestyle swimming.
7) Turning studies for freestyle swimming.
8) Midterm exam.
9) Swimming competition rules.
10) Drills of backstroke swimming.
11) Drills of freestyle swimming and relay races.
12) Studies of the backstroke swimming.
