Course Contents

This course provides students with the knowledge of the definition of table tennis, its history, basic techniques and teaching techniques.

Weekly Schedule

1) Historical development of the sport of table tennis
2) Information about the material used in table tennis
3) Types of holding the racket and basic standing styles
4) Teaching techniques and practices for the forehand stroke exercises
5) Forehand high and short and swipe their teaching exercises
6) Backhand stroke, backhand short service and practice techniques for teaching exercises
7) Backhand stroke, backhand short service and practice techniques for teaching exercises
8) Midterm examination
9) Teaching of drop stroke techniques and exercises of its practices
10) Teaching of drive stroke techniques and exercises of its practices
11) Teaching of spike stroke techniques and exercises of its practices
12) Teaching of net drop stroke techniques and exercises of its practices
13) Teaching of net kill stroke techniques and exercises of its practices
