Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Be able to comprehend what is botany and explain their relation to plant systems
2) Cytology, the physical and chemical structure of the cell and the cell knows and cell organelles, nucleus and nucleolus structure, properties, and importance.
3) Recognize plant structures and understand their functions
4) Have basic knowledge about plant cell, tissues and organs.
5) Cell wall, the chemical structure and differentiation of the submicroscopic structure of cell wall, Growth, plasmodesmata, learn about the shape and size of the cell.
6) Physical and Chemical Properties of protoplasm of the cell membrane, cytoplasm, Plasmolysis-deplasmolysis, events such as the cytoplasmic movements understand and learn the details.

Course Contents

Informing about cytology (cell science) by describing structure, functions and structure of plant cell and cell wall and histology (tissue biology) by describing of plant tissues, types, tasks and characteristics and to teach morphological and anatomical features of root, stem, leaf, flower, fruit and seed by explaining plant organs (organography).
