This course covers below topics; History of phytobacteriology, Morphology and cell structure in bacteria, classification and nomenclature of phytopathogenic bacteria, epidemiology, economic importance of plant bacterial diseases, isolation of phytopathogenic bacteria, ways to identify phytopathogenic bacteria, pathogenicity tests, bacteriology laboratory equipment, sterilization and storage of bacterial cultures Methods of management diseases
