Folk Poetry types, structures, formal features.

Weekly Schedule

1) Meeting, determination of resources.
2) What is folk poetry?
3) Forms and types of folk poetry.
4) What are the forms of folk poetry, verse, couplet?
5) Types of syllables.
6) What is rhyme, redif?
7) Anonymous products; mani, lullaby, nursery rhyme, bimece, ballad.
8) Review.
9) Midterm.
10) Mani; mania types in terms of form.
11) Types of mania in terms of subjects.
12) Lullaby; Classification of lullabies: - Lullabies in terms of their structure, - Lullabies in terms of topics.
13) Types of nursery rhymes.
14) Puzzle; Classification of riddles: - Prose riddles, -Manzum riddles.
15) Review.
16) Final exam.
