DC Machines; Basic Concepts, Mechanical Force, Magnetic Force, Mechanical Power, Electrical Power, Torque. Technical application of Moving İnduction - Generatör. Generator and Motor action. EMF and Torque induced in Armature. DC Machine Windings and Connections. Seperately, Series, Shunt, Compound Excitation and Equivalent Circuits. Operational Characteristics of DC Generators and Motors. Armature Reaction and Commutation. Operating principles, Characteristics, Losses and Efficiency of DC Machines. Starting, Braking, Speed and Torque controlling of DC Motors. Transformers; Basic Concepts related to transformation induction. İdeal Transformer. Structures ,Operating principles, Windings, Conversion Rates of Transformers. Operating of Under Load, Without Load and Short Circuit. Equivalent Circuit. Voltage Drop. Phasor Diagrams. Regulation and Efficiency. Three-Phase Transformer; Structures, Operations, Connections. Polarities and Connection Groups. Parallel Operation and Parallel connecting conditions.
