Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Explain the electrical wiring installation activities and special techniques in dangerous and not comfortable areas such as, in agricultural areas, livestock, farming and garden areas. Also, knows electrical installation at temporary construction sites.
2) Find the methods and techniques of cathodic protection to protect against lightning.
3) Identify the automobile electrical and security systems.
4) Write the place that has explosion risk in energy systems.
5) Draw the alarm systems.

Course Contents
Choosing cable and equipments considering to environment temperature, the definition and the factors of establishment of a system, the effect of high environment temperature on a electrical equipment, the examination of a system that has explosion possibility in the area, definition of ex proof materials, definition of electrical installation in mining areas, definition of electrical installation in ships, definition and the dangers of electrical installation in farming, stockbreeding, horticulture applications, the tools and devices, the introduction to temporary work site, the protection of structure, building and foundation against struck by lightning, electricity automobiles, hybrid systems, fire alarm systems, burglar alarm systems, the introduction to closed circuit tv systems.
Weekly Schedule
1) Selection of cables and equipment in areas with high ambient temperature and the introduction of the factors that determine the establishment of it2) The effects of high environmental temperature, electrical equipment
3) Low-temperature areas suitable for the introduction of cable type and installation. Temperature regular periodic review of the necessary equipment, high or low places
4) Corrosive, vapors and liquids suitable for use in their existing plumbing systems
5) Investigate possible areas that the installation of explosion, introduction ofexplosion-proof materials
6) Introduction of electrical installations in mines
7) Introduction of electrical installations in the ship
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Agriculture, livestock and horticultural applications, exposed electrical wiring systems used for the introduction of hazards to be overcome
10) Introduction of a temporary installation of construction site
11) Introduction of the building and facilities protection against lightning strike
12) Structures against corrosion, cathodic protection of pipelines and introduce the other equipment used in the protection methods
13) Electric cars, hybrid systems
14) Fire alarm systems
15) Anti-theft alarm system, introduction of closed circuit television system
16) Final examination
