1) Within the guidelines of the standards which used in Turkish Industry, develop the communication skills and knowledge for the interpretation of engineering drawings
2) Explain the basic geometrical constructions which used in the engineering drawings.
3) Use drawing equipments.
4) Draw simple circuit diagrams including some standards symbols.
5) Draw Professional drawings.

Course Contents

Drawing office practice, geometrical construction, technical drawing interpretation, forms of projection, drawing, reading and understanding all heating. ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

1) Font types that are used in the engineering drawing
2) Geometric drawings
3) Perspective drawing of appearances that belong to a given component
4) Formation, sections, perspective
5) Symbol drawing used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
6) Symbols of the cooling system
7) Using symbols which are used in cooling systems diagrams and illustrations .
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Refrigeration circuits
10) Drawing and recognizing of refrigeration cabinets and circuits.
11) The electrical circuit components and the connection forms of air-conditioning and refrigeration circuit elements
12) Ventilation schemes and projects
13) The electrical and refrigeration connections of ventilation and air-conditioning symbols
14) Charts that are used in air-conditioning and their projects
15) Difference between air-conditioning elements and ventilation types, ventilation selection
16) Final examination
