Course Contents

This lesson covers Introduction to AUTOCAD Drawing Program, File Menu, Open, Save, Exit, Drawing Screen, Command Prompt, Text and Drawing Windows Properties, Dialog Boxes and Use of Screen Menu. Data Entry, Usage Of Function Buttons. Undo, Redo, Oops. Screen Viewing, Standard Zoom, Real Time Zoom, Pan.Object Snap Usage and Adjustment(Endpoint, Midpoint, Intersection, Center, Quadrant, Tangent, Perpendicular ) Grid Adjustment, Object Selection, Refreshing The Screen. Line Command, Absolute, Incrimental and Polar Cartesian Coordinates.Circle , Polygon ,Arc Commands Array Command( Rectangular, Polar ) Offset, Fillet, Trim ,Copy, Move, Mirror,Text, Dimension Commands.

Weekly Schedule

1) Introduction of the program, the display and menus, opening an existing file, opening multiple files, saving a file while working, doing different save changes, close AutoCAD
2) Line command , make a drawing based on the absolute coordinates, draw according to the relative coordinates
3) Drawing entering the distance, using the angle to draw
4) Drawing area, the delineation, determination of unit systems
5) Customization of toolbars, status buttons, command-line
6) Erase, Copy, Move commands
7) Multiline, Polyline, Rectangle commands
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Mirror, offset commands , Polygon, Arc, Circle, Spline, Ellipse commands
10) Array, Rotate, Scale, Strech, Scetch, Break, Break at point commands
11) Fillet , Chamfer, Explode, Hatch commands
12) Isometric drawings, isometric circle, cross-sectional isometric
13) Writing with AutoCAD, text style (font style settings and creating new styles), organization of papers written
14) Introduction of the Dimension Style window, the Dimension toolbar, and commands,
15) Dimensioning organization commands
