This lecture covers heat needs, fuels, gas heating, electrical heating, commercial and industrial applications.

Weekly Schedule

1) Course content and information about resource books , sources of heat.
2) Properties of fuels used in industry for heating and other heat sources
3) Heat value and combustion
4) Local heating systems
5) Heating systems used in residences
6) Central heating systems
7) Comprehend the structure of the central hot water heating systems and comprehend projects for these systems
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Heat load calculation and applications
10) Central heating, boiler, central heating systems
11) Boiler, boiler selection and calculations, the column chart and pipe diameters of the account, the chimney cross-section calculation, expansion tank and seat tubes.
12) Circulation pump calculation
13) Annual fuel consumption and storage calculation
14) Automatic control in the heating systems
15) repair and maintenance of heating systems
16) Final examination
