Course Contents

This course covers; Types Of Slabs, Joist Floors, One-Two Way Slabs, Design Using The TS500-2000 Tables, Slabs With Openings, Slabs Of Varying Support and Loading Conditions. Ribbed Slabs. Foundations, Types Of Foundations. Wall Footings, One and Two-Way Continous Strip Foundations, Mat Foundations, Stairs.

4) Principles of placement of concrete covering. Minimum reinforcement and cross-sectional size
5) Constructive principles and details of reinforced concretes
6) Concrete foundations and selection principles
7) Formation of wall footings and calculation. Detail drawings of wall footings
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Selection principles, sizing and calculation of concrete foundation
10) Verify the individual basic staple and detail drawings of concrete foundation
11) Selection principles of continous concrete foundation
12) Calculation of statics of continous concrete foundation
13) Placement and detail drawing of the continous concrete foundation
14) Radial basic design principles. Basic types of radial
15) Detailed drawing of the raft foundation reinforcement
16) Final examination
